  • Los Angeles Unified School District Virtual Prom – 2020

When COVID-19 hit, the news media was lamenting the plight of seniors and what graduation would look like during a pandemic, but we at SNAP were thinking about another rite of passage—senior prom and what it would mean if the students didn’t have one.  We created a concept and pitched it to LA Unified for a fast paced, high energy, 3-hour event with celebrity involvement, giveaways and hot DJ’s that not just the student, but the whole family could enjoy.  We solicited “shout-outs” to the students from celebrities such as Magic Johnson, Estelle, Tichina Arnold and Los Angeles Laker Danny Green.  We secured video performances specifically tailored to LA seniors from recording artists and identified companies such as adidas, Bigelow Tea, McDonalds, Disney and PINK by Victoria Secret to provide prizes and giveaways, which we did through the chat function.  Three local DJ’s provided the music for the prom and we even got a live appearance by Justin Combs, Sean “Diddy” Combs son.  We presented the prom on LAUSD’s secure platform, Microsoft Live and the over 33,000 seniors enjoyed a magical event—in the comfort of their own homes.

SNAP produced this one-of-a-kind tour designed to help women aged 35-65+ get real answers from medical and functional medicine practitioners about hormones, perimenopause and menopause.  We researched and identified event sites, medical and functional medicine experts on a range of topics from the ideal perimenopause and gut health to emerging therapies in both Los Angeles and Atlanta to produce events with over 25 speakers in each market in Ted Talk format.

Additionally, SNAP produced the show, wrote event scripts, identified and secured vendors, created the website wireframe and content, provided all social media content, managed registration, identified partners, led the press initiative in Los Angeles to create a safe and informative space for women on a topic that has been whispered about, but never dealt with head-on until now.  From 2020-Spring 2022, we produced 4 events virtually, recording 20-25 experts that garnered an international audience.  The virtual events had an attendance of over 4000 globally.  In the Fall of 2022, we are producing the event in-person with 25+ speakers, Table Talks so that the attendees can talk one-on-one with a medical expert and have incorporated the WisePause Lifestyle Showcase where brands who provide health, beauty, smart devices, and nutraceuticals to this demographic have the opportunity to introduce their products.  SNAP is also managing all exhibitors, press as well as food and beverage and show production.
